I don’t believe in leaders, elections, political
parties, trade unions and religious organizations, nor in deliberate anarchy or
political passivity.
I believe in the gradual maturing of citizens who see the sickness of political systems and lobby networks behind the scenes, and are able to sensibly participate in direct democracy.
I believe in the gradual maturing of citizens who see the sickness of political systems and lobby networks behind the scenes, and are able to sensibly participate in direct democracy.
This participation should be channeled through
the secure guarantee of sensibility. For instance, voting on the Internet might
have programs that force would-be voters to first demonstrate they have
understood the main pros and cons of the alternative options before they can
actually come to vote for one of these options.
Among the many ideas for improvement that
circulate, I like the proposal to test politicians on emotional maturity before
they are allowed to climb in the saddle. Psychologists also test other people for
jobs.
I love to learn about other constructive ideas.
